Davelyn Hill reflects on the keeping and staying power of faith and God’s love in her painting responding to Jude 1:24-25:
To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

From the Artist:
Our faith rests not on our ability to stay close to God, but on His power to keep us.
The central circle is kept safe by the three lines of the square. These represent the believer and God’s keeping power.
This is the first step of this painting which focuses on the blood of Jesus which offers us the relationship or contract. By this we are able to rest in God’s ability to bring us to himself without blame.
Davelyn Hill is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, artist, poet, activist, and friend. She studied general art at Kansas State University where she fell in love with painting, ceramics and the wheel.
She believes in the power of art to push culture forward and act as a mirror to our society.
